Hunter Manley is a racing driver from Newell, Alabama currently competing in a variety of series such as American Endurance Racing and World Racing League. Hunter starting racing when he was 7 years old in motocross and arenacross in southeastern U.S.A. At the age of 13 he switched over to four wheels competing in the Huntsville Quarter Midget Association racing series in Huntsville, Alabama. At 14 he had grown too tall for quarter midgets and started the virtual world of sim racing.
In 2012 he would start his adventure on iRacing.com, the worlds biggest esports sim racing simulation. After just one year of sim racing, Hunter would go on the be on of the youngest (if not, the youngest) American road pro racer in the history of iRacing, finishing 14th in the qualifier series. Hunter would go on to finish the season in 26th of 50 drivers after only racing four races the entire season (crashed out of two) and would leave pro racing at the start of the 2015 season.
The following years, Hunter would take a break from sim racing and would focus on his final years of high school, finishing top 25% of his class and finishing as a semi-finalist at the 6A State Tennis Championships, earning a spot at his college’s men’s tennis team the following year. In his first year of college, his team would go on to win the Conference Championship in Division I and would place 12th in the National Championship, Hunter playing #4 on the team.
After finishing his first two years of college, Hunter enlisted in the United States Marine Corps Reserve as a HIMARS Operator. He graduated basic training at Parris Island, SC in Kilo Company, 3rd Battalion. He went on to Marine Corps Cannoneer School and graduated as the HIMARS class honor graduate. He continues to serve alongside his busy racing schedule year-round and continues to support military veterans in the racing community.
